The almond tree is a native of southwest Asia. Sweet almond often eaten on it's own, raw or toasted, and is used in some dishes. They are often sprinkled over desserts, ice cream based dishes, and sweets. Almond butter is an excellent substitute for peanut butter. Its flour contains no carbohydrates and hence excellent for dietary cakes and biscuits. Almonds are rich in Vitamin E, fiber and monounsaturated fat. Its soft texture, mild flavor and light coloring goes well with dairy. Our raw, blanched and lightly toasted almonds work well for different culinary production lines such as in marzipan, nougat, baklava and macaroons and many others.
