Strakes on the underside run parallel from the bow to transom togive the hull more bite in turns and lift at the bow. Vertical fin atrear assists with stability at high speeds. Conventional R/C hulls wantto bounce around in rough water. Air will get under the boat and thedriver will need to slow down and stabilize the boat. Whereas the V24exhibits an uncanny ability to remain level under the same conditionsand blasts ahead like a dart. Radio: Futaba 2PEKA FM pistol grip withEnd Point Adjustment (EPA) and dual rates. Servos: S3305 high-torquemetal geared servo for operating the Super Wedge rudder, S3003 standardservo controls the throttle. Radio Box: Constructed of fiberglass withwaterproof exit boots and clear plexiglass lid. Engine: PreinstalledFuji BT-24 with recoil starter and, waterproof kill switch, requiresonly regular gasoline mixed with 2-cycle oil, (see instructions). TunedPipe: Spun aluminum with stainless steel support bracket. Drive System:Adjustable Surface Drive (ASD) allows manual angle adjustment of thepropeller. Cooling System: Tri-Flow watercooling system with water pickups in rudder and both trim tabs thatchannel water up and around engine, exhaust flange header and tunedpipe.
