PEL power transformers are being manufactured under license of Ganz Hungary, producers of very first transformer in 1876.
PEL established its power transformers division in 2005, with a keen eye on the future demands of local market. After successful testing of its 20/26MVA, 132/11KV prototype power transformer in April 2007, PEL has become only the third manufacturer of power transformers in Pakistan, and the first local company in private sector producing 132KV power transformers.
Technical Collaborations
PEL power transformers are being manufactured under license of Ganz Hungary, who are the producers of very first transformer in the world in 1876.
PEL has also collaborated with Pakistan WAPDA Foundation for using their facilities at Transformer Reclamation Workshop, Lahore.
