Dried Sweet Figs (Anjeer) 
Figs contain a significant quantity of fiber and iron as compared to other dry fruits. They can be eaten fresh or dried and used in making jam. In Bengal it is cooked as a vegetable and is considered useful for heart ailments, they are made into syrups and given to people suffering from different heart ailments. Moreover, figs are known to reduce the risk of heart diseases as in lowering the blood cholesterol levels. Figs even contain a high quantity of calcium, phosphorous, iron, vitamin C and B.
