The local port allocation for the concerned supplying mine is fully booked until Feb 2009. The mine is however, able to immediately supply in containers of 20, 000 MT per month. The vision is to increase bulk volume to 2mil MT per annum, once port allocation is available in Feb 2009.

This coal is already being purchased in Japan and Korea as a premium Blending Coal being mixed in a 1 to 4 ratio to dramatically increase binding with Hard Coking Coal due to its very high fluidity. Modern steel plants can deal with high volatile coal and simply burn the volatiles for energy production.

The mine is willing to blend and supply to buyer specifications if necessary.

Typical prices to China and India are CIF $US 370 per tonne.
