The e220 (800W) Hybrid Boost System includes turbine, tower, Kestrel Voltage Limiter, and Grid Tie Inverter/MPPT Controller. System available with 6, 9, 12 or 15m Scissor Tower for ease of maintenance.

The patented Kestrel Voltage Limiter allows Kestrel turbines to be compatible with existing solar or other systems, boosting output and efficiency. The Kestrel Voltage Limiter uses electronic means to restrict the incoming voltage at a pre-designed value, if for any reason the wind generator voltage rises, the limiter restricts this voltage rise to a preset value. The product uses linear technology causing no electrical disturbance during operation. The Kestrel Voltage Limiter is passive and uses no energy whatsoever during normal operation. It is extremely reliable in operation and incorporates a failsafe design.
