This is a professional and rugged 3G / GPRS cellular router that provides secure high speed wireless connectivity to remote LANs and individual Ethernet devices. It is ideal for use where wired networks, such as leased lines, ISDN or DSL are not feasible, or where an additional fail-over WAN link is required.
The ConnectPort WAN VPN has 2 x RS-232 serial ports for connecting legacy COM devices and a built-in 4 port 10/100 Ethernet switch for connecting TCP/IP network devices. Amplicon can provide SIM cards for use in the Connectport WAN VPN that will provide a static, public (internet) IP address.
