MAV shrink discs series: MAV2008-3008 are designed in various dimensions for various functions.

It's used together with gearboxes, disc couplings, flange couplings, sleeve couplings, magnetic couplings, press flywheels, clutches, and composting rotor.

It works by ''shrinking'' or squeezing a portion of the mounted component down onto the shaft. Fit clearances between the hub OD and shrink disc are controlled to ensure the hub contracts within its elastic limits.
