Features Specifications: Capacitor Bank With Reactors

Type: Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Application: Power
The usual method for the reactive energy compensation in industrial networks consist of the connection of capacitors, sometimes fixed or switched by automatic power control regulators. However the direct connection of capacitors to the distribution network is not always admissible for different reasons such as:
*Presence of harmonic currents generated by non linear loads.
*Possibility of resonances between the power factor correction capacitors and certain inductive loads or even the leakage inductance of the supply transformer.
*Presence of drop outs or other disturbances in the voltage, due to capacitor switching transients, specially in case of low short circuit power at the point of coupling.
*Attenuation of high frequency command signals transmitted through the network.
When such problems occur it is necessary to add reactances, either to match with the capacitors and filter the disturbances or to obtain an adequate rejection for the harmonics or for the HF signals and adapt to the international standarts regarding these aspects.
*Module System
*With electrolitik copper bars
*Arranged in order from top to the bottom. Fuse switch disconnectors, capacitor conductors, reactors and capacitors.
*Housing and mounting plates are made of 2mm sheet steel and United with perforated profile bolt.
*Painted with electrostatic powder RAL 7032.
*The mounting plates are galvanized after processed and can be done from 3mm sheet steel if neccessary.
*The contactors consist of special precharging resistors.
*With the capacitors in cylindrical aluminum cases. *Dry design, self healing.
*All junctions are with flexible NYAF cable and the cross section is selected according to fuse ampere value.
