Vinegar in Islamic medicine:

Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) have said in an authentic hadith,

"The best of condiments is vinegar."

Avicenna in his famous book "The Canon of Medicine" have mentioned several benefits of vinegar. According to Avicenna, vinegar has several use in medicine: it is a powerful clotting agent, it heals burns and skin inflammations and when applied to the it relieves headaches caused by heat. He also considered vinegar a good digestive supplement.
