Automatic Power Factor Controller

The power factor controllers DCRE have been designed to meet the technical requirements of the modern electrical industrial plants and the latest customer needs. Due to electronic power devices, voltage quality has been getting worst in recent times and power factor applications are thereby becoming critical. As a result, reliability and the ability to properly operate in all conditions have become the main requirements for power factor regulators but they must also be able to detect any critical condition in order to protect power factor equipment. 
Lovato Electric offers its solution through DCRE5 power factor controller. It comes with 5 steps, in flush mount 96x96x65mm enclosure, it is microprocessor controlled.

- Allows accurate and reliable power factor control of a system and operates optimal capacitor use
- Operates correct current evaluation on the basis of RMS readings even in presence of waveform distortions or high harmonic content
- Assures balanced use of capacitors banks by rational adjustment of the number of operations and connecting time of each step
- Adjustable tripping sensitivity
- Adjustable reconnection delay time of the same step
- Easy installation using one external current transformer only
