Tayana 55

This cutter rigged center cockpit sloop features  a large aft cabin with double bed and ensuite, 2 forward cabins with a head, a very large salon. The yacht was ordered in 1991 by the present owner at Ta Yang in Taiwan and then transferred to the United States.
In subsequent years, the yacht was sailing in the Caribbean. The yacht was every year 5 months in dry dock and was completely overhauled, including
new anti-fouling and technical maintenance.
The interior was painted in the Ta Yang yard in Taiwan in the presence of the owner and built according to his plans. After completion, the yacht was taken to Miami via Dockwise. In the yard Meryl Stevens in Miami has been built the electronics for final outfitting the boat. Launched in August 1991. In May 1992 the yacht was sailed by the owner of the Atlantic and in the subsequent year on Gran Canaria, sailed to the Caribbean. Since then the yacht is in the Caribbean and every year during 4-5 months in dry dock for overhaul.

The Tayana 55 was designed by the Dutch naval architect / designer Pieter Beeldsnijder that is recognized worldwide as a leading designer and works to Lloyds specifications.
