Manufactured in Brazil by Air Service, it is an equipment of high productivity, with significantly enhanced drilling and fuel consumption ratio when compared to others of its category. It was designed in order to combine a load sensing system with hydraulic valves, eliminating the necessity of electronic controls. The simplicity of its hydraulic controls makes the use of pilot or electric valves unnecessary. The feeding hydraulic motoreducer has gradual control of speed, presenting sensitivity to work on any type of rock. The operation system is composed by a central console, which gives control of all functions of drilling, traction and positioning, dust collecting, monitoring of the Diesel engine and of air end unit. In a removable panel next to the mast, connected to the equipment by 02 electric cables instead of hoses, are located the commands of drilling, positioning and traction; and if necessary, it is possible to include the command of the rod changer. Robust, equipped with triple nervure traction shoes, dust collector with washable cartridge type filters and a system of oil cooling for extra-heavy services. It can be equipped with an Air Service Hydraulic Driller, model BJ515M or BJ448M and has as optional parts: extending boom, bar feeder, mechanical or electronic inclinometer and operator cabin.
