SEMI- RUGGEDISED AUTOMATIC EXCHANGE MK-II (SRAX MK-II)

Semi-Ruggedised Automatic Exchange (SRAX MK-II) Equipment is an automatic Telephone Exchange designed to meet the communication requirement of a Army Unit/ formation. The Equipment supports 710 Ports consisting of POTS, ISDN and Trunks in its basic unit. The capacity can be expanded by 578 Ports using Expansion unit. SRAX MK-II Equipment is state of art equipment based on digital stored program control technology. It employs non-blocking circuit switching concept for legacy network and gateway concept for H.323 network interface for Voice over IP communication. For Man-machine interface (MMI), a Laptop PC with Win NT Operating System (OS) is used. Besides MMI PC, two nos. of LCD based Operator Console for call handling and monitoring have also been provided.
