Martas Vinyard Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2003 Maipu
Located in the arid plains of the pre-Andes in compact dry granite and volcanic soil, irrigated by mineral infused pure mountain streams which provides perfect conditions for this for the 100% Cabernet. Handpicked from our winerys estate at its peak in early March 2003 and created unblended in house. Blueberry and cranberry fruit, balanced with a tobacco spice and ripe tannin structure with an incredibly long finish.

Characteristics:

Colour: Deep red with slight shades of brick.

Nose:Ripe blackcurrant, plum and mulberry with hints of mocha.

Mouth: Complex black fruit, supple tannins and a hint of tobacco with a silky palate and a sustained finish.

Serve: 16 18 c.
