The Prostar has a fast-acting magnetic brake that cuts in when the power supply is interrupted. This
motor brake is both reliable and extremely durable.

Together with the motor brake, the mechanical brake provides a superior duel braking system that
guarantees operating safety. The mechanical brake has a long service life, with trouble free operation.

The housing is made from an aluminium alloy that is both light in weight and provides good heat
dissipation, allowing up to 30 minutes of continual operation. The design is fully enclosed and is
suitable in foundries, electroplating factories and other harsh environments.

If the power supply is incorrectly wired, the negative phase detector kicks in and will not allow the
hoist to run.

A 48 Volt control voltage, helps prevent injury in the event of a current leakage from the push button
control unit.
