| Jacket: PVC | Insulation Material: XLPE | Type: High Voltage | Armoured Material: internal steel tape | Usage: Industrial & Construction | Rated Voltage: 8.7/15kV | Conductor Material: Cu | Sheath Material: PVC |
The cable is manufactured according to GB/T 12706-2002(equal to IEC 60502-1997), suitable to be installed in the power line with rated voltage from U0/U3.6/6 kV to 26/35 kV for transmitting electricity.
1. Maximum rated temperature
The maximum operating temperature of conductor shall not exceed 90oC when the XLPE insulated cable is used for long time. The temperature of conductor shall not exceed 250oC at short circuit. The max. duration does not exceed 5 seconds.
2. Installation requirement
The installation of cable is not limited by the difference of level along the route .The ambient temperature should not be below 0oC during installation. The permissible bending radius of cables shall not be less than 20 D for single-core cable and 15 D for three-core cable respectively, D is the cable overall diameter.
The single-core cable shall be non-armoured or metal wire(including steel wire or non-magnetic metal wire) armoured or non-magnetic metal tape armoured , when it is electrified with alternating current and shall not be laid in magnetic ducts.
Note: The current-carrying capacity is just 60% compared with single-core cable of the same specification for non-armoured or else non-magetic metal armoured if the single-core steel armoured cable is chosen.
