Introduction:

Adphoam^® Phenolic Foam Thermal Insulation Air Duct is made by Phenolic Foam Thermal Insulation Panels with Aluminum Foil at Two Sides. We supply base panels and related accessories for making air ducts as shown in the picture.

Description of its base panel, phenolic foam: 

Adphoam^® Phenolic Foam Thermal Insulation Air Duct Panels' base panel, phenolic foam, is made from phenolic resin, blowing agent and other chemical additives,  after mixing, heating and harding. Comparing with other insulanting materials, Adphoam^® performs excellent features both in thermal insulating properities and fire resistance. Our test results indicate that there are many insulation products on the market which meet with all the existing performance standards, but there are none that would meet all the standards set by Adphoam^®. Adphoam^® combined the best properties of these triditional insulants with excellent fire resistance and it has found ways in applying itself in fields like construction, chemical industry and vehicle manufacturing plant, etc..

Properties of its base panel, phenolic foam: 

   Combustibility        By adding special fire retardant agent, Adphoam^® has passed the states Fire Safty Test and been ranked class B1 according to GB8624 standard. The foam is not flammable, and releases no smoke and toxicity gases when burning. Its fire safty property is best comparing with other organic insulation materials.

   Conductivity       Adphoam^® s conductity coefficient is very low and ranged from 0.018-0.032 w/mk.

   Temp. Resistance      The working temp. of the foam covers the range of -190^oC ~ +150^oC.

   Mechanical property     Compressive strength is 0.12~0.35 mpa, elongation strength is 0.12~0.26 mpa, tesile strength is 0.30~0.35 mpa.

   No toxicity         The foam is using no Feron as blow agent, releasing no toxic gases when burning. Therefore it is harmless to environment and humanbeings health.

   Water proofing      Due to its closed cell structure, the foam is water proofing so that its insulating property keep no change during its working life.

   Chemical proofing     The foam shows excellent chemical proofing property when contacting with acid.

   Economic property     Basides low price and long life less amount is required for whole systems because of the low conductivity coefficient. Therefore it is reasonable to use the foam from the point of economy.

   Easy for installment     Half pipes make installment easy and fast.

   Density            For general purpose, the foams density goes from 50 ~ 70 kg/m³.
