QUALIMAX is BW Protect's exclusive brand for Fire retardant (FR) treated fabrics. The brand offers 100% cotton FR treated fabrics to polyester or polyamide blended fabrics.

Fire retardant treatment are used to make normal fabrics become fire resistant: chemical treatments are applied onto the fibers in order to modify their original properties. The FR treatment that BW Protect uses on its QUALIMAX fabrics is one of the most efficient treatments available. All our FR treated fabrics meet Chinese standards GB8965-98 and European standard EN470 even after being washed 50 times at 75°C.
