The Serial Precision NC Electric-sparking Wire-cutting Machine Tool are used for machining and processing of metal mould of special type.

 
This product adopts the theory of electro discharge machining to complete the machining by making the electrolytic corrosion (spark discharge) of conducting material. In machining, a piece of wire, Mo. wire is generally used, is used as the working electrode to make spark discharge of the work piece. Being controlled by the numerical control computer, the work piece moves according to the program-determined orbit and the work piece will be machined according to the required shape finally.
 

The most important feature of this method is that there is no demand on the worked material. In principle, all of the conducting metal material can be machined. For the material that cannot be machined by mechanical cutting, the unparalleled advantage of this method is demonstrated especially. As long as the program is designed, it is very easy to machine perfect work piece of super-hard material (such as hardened steel and hard metal alloy), ductile material (such as various stainless steel and heat resisting alloy steel), fragile material (such as magnetic steel), thin wall parts that cannot be clamped easily and the parts that have complicated shapes. Because of the broad use, this product is welcomed by correlative industries.
