LED Video Light

1.  Instructions of Camlight:

Camlight is researched by ZHUHAI JILI DEVELOPMENT CO., LTD independently. It is a kind of LED energy-saving light which is suitable for professional photography and video illumination. Camlight has rich characters which are efficient, bright, stable, durable, portable, flexible and low failure rate, it can adapt to various video-shooting machines and cameras.  

2. Scope of application: Specialized in photography, setting lighting, filling lighting, and illumination.

3. Characteristics of Camlight

3.1. The illumination effect of PL-68H series under voltage range 4.7-5.7w is as the same as 35w traditional halogen light. The illumination effect of PL-88 series under voltage range 9-12w is as the same as 75w traditional halogen light.

(If the color temperature of traditional halogen light is filtrated to 5600k, Camlight would be much better than halogen light).

3.2. Camlight possesses higher color revivification index and high stability of color temperature. The color temperature would not change while brightness changes, which makes it suitable to the requirement of professional photography.

3.3. With the function of continuous light adjustment from 1% to 100%, it is easy to adjust to a satisfactory brightness level.

3.4. Camlight has internal lithium polymer battery which is of non-explosive risk; it has battery alert indicator; the internal battery is replaceable, or users can use two internal batteries when needed. Intellectualized charging control could avoid overtime charging or insufficient charging, which can make the internal battery durable.  

3.5. One-piece design, portable shape, universal hot-boot connector to various camcorders and cameras. PL-68O AND PL-88O are without the internal battery, they could work by vidicon power.

3.6. The top of Camlight is replaceable with tops of different colors; color temperature and irradiation angle (just like you change the camera lens) to suit different requirement of photography and special occasions.

4. Usage time limit:

4.1. The single lithium polymer battery is 11.1WH.

The battery alert light will be triggered if the battery is low when Camlight is used up to its highest brightness level. Continuous lighting time: PL-68H over 100min; PL-68HD over 200min; PL-88 over 50min; PL-88D over 100min. Besides, PL-68HD and PL-88D are designed with dual internal battery. 

4.2. If the camlight is not in highest brightness while being used, then the battery can last longer. 

5. How to use Camlight

5.1. Camlight Description

Base: switch button with brightness adjusting knob, DC connector, Battery level indicator, charge indicator. 

Shell: The aluminum alloy shell to protect internal circuits and radiate heat.

Multifunctional hot-boot connector: it can connect to tripod, handle or top of DV recorder, camcorders and cameras,it could also connect to  the  1/4 standard connector  of  the  professional  video  recorders ;

LED lamp-top: composed by 68 or 144 dots of high efficient LED light with different specifications.

5.2. Indicators Description

Batt: Indicates battery energy. There are three levels which are Low, Mid, and Hi. Low level means 10% remaining energy left and need to get charged immediately. Mid level means remaining energy is lower than 45% and high level means remaining energy is over 45%.

Power: On & Off switch

ON/OFF knob: Its the power switch and at the same time it can adjust the brightness. When Camlight is turned on, it is on the highest brightness. When turning clockwise to the end, it is on the lowest brightness.

DC socket: Charging socket for the internal battery.

ATTENTION: please use supporting charging device provided by our company for battery charging.

5.3. The LED lamp-top of camlight are replaceable. Our company manufactures a series of accessories with different angles of 15°30°45°.  There are high color temperature LED lamp-top (5600k), low color temperature LEDlamp-top (3200k), pure red, pure green and infrared LED lamp-top etc. We provide the standard set product for users. However customers can choose different packages of LED lamp-top according to the need.

5.4. How to replace: Switch off the power firstly, and then turn the LED lamp-top anticlockwise to remove it.  Put on the new LED lamp-top on the Camlight and then its ready to use.

6. How to charge Camlight

6.1. We suggest no charging while in use.

6.2.Please use the special charger designed by our company to charge Camlight;

6.3. Full-charged Camlight will automatically discharge gradually when leaving unused for a long time and recharging is recommended before use.

6.4. The battery can reach 80% of full capacity with the 1.5 hours and 3 hours continuous charge time for single and dual battery respectively.

6.5. Lithium polymer battery can be charged anytime when needed.

6.6. The battery can be charged over 300 times.

7. Storage and Maintenance

7.1. Please keep Camlight dry. Keep the surface of LED light clean. Dont touch it with fingers otherwise the illumination effect will be affected. Please use soft cotton textiles to clean the surface. No chemical solvent be used. If necessary, alcohol of high purity can be used for cleaning.

7.2. Water could come into the internal part of the LED light if it used in rainy weather. The LED lamp-top should be taken off. Get rid of the water from it and make it cool dry. Use after dry. 

7.3. Do not expose the camlight at the overheating or frozen environment. Otherwise the battery may not work properly. It should not be used for too long under the highest brightness level. However it can be used for long when brightness level is below 60%.

7.4. Do not knock, drop or shake the camlight violently otherwise it can not work properly.

7.5. If the light runs improperly (such as irradiate abnormally or accessories failures), please dont disassemble and assemble by yourself. Contact our customer-service department immediately.
