Property : A white or pale colored crystalline powder. Dissolve in 85 parts of water, 6 parts alcohol, 2 parts of boiling water, slightly soluble in aether.

Usage : Gallic acid is used in determination of bismuth, cerium, copper, nitrite phosphorus, silver thorium and titanium, etc. It is widely used in pharmaceutical, dyestuff, chemical and organic synthetic industries.
