Applications and Features
CNC universal thread grinder is mainly designed for grinding precision leadscrews, plug gauges, ball screws, ball nuts, internal and external cylindrical or tapered threads. It can also perform relief grinding on taps, hobs, thread milling cutters, while circular grooves on rollers or round thread combing cutters may be handled. After being configured with special attachments, the machine can also grind worms.
1.Siemens 840D CNC 4-axis system with 3 axes simultaneous motion and its whole close loop control can perform automatic grinding cycle, auto. wheel dressing and compensation etc..
2.Secondary-developed and customized CNC parameterized software can be used for grinding various threads such as triangle threads, trapezoid threads, ball screws. Worms and tapered threads etc..
3. To realize the above-mentioned functions, many high technologies are applied to the machine.
Artificial granite machine-bed is employed, making the machine have higher vibration-proof, rigidity and stability.
Wheelhead feed and table movement are performed by their servo motors via the ball screws.
Cylindrical structure is employed for the wheelhead base, with good rigidity, providing a wide range of adjusting helical angle for grinding long-lead screw. Adjustment of helical angle can be controlled automatically. Accordingly, the machine has reached the national advanced level.
4. Diamond roller is available for dressing wheels, and it is mounted at the workhead driving plate, with reasonable structure and low cost. It is originally created in our country.
5. In the aspect of cooling, multi-path heavy-power cooling is adopted, and the coolant tank is completed with temperature-control device, ensuring the grinding quality.
6.The machine is provided with whole enclosure protection, and also in elegant appearance.
