Tandem Internal Boom

Remove existing control box, pendant, and all electrical wiring, trunking and junction
boxes.
Remove all guards and brackets
Remove gearboxes and motors.
Remove pulleys, timing belts and chains.
Steam clean, sandblast (where applicable), prime and repaint in full gloss
(paint in customer's colours if required) all steelwork.
Strip and refurbish carriage assembly.
Replace carriage bearings and eccentric shafts as necessary.
Strip and refurbish boom assembly.
Clean and/or machine guide ways.
Strip and refurbish column assembly.
Fit new brass bush to top wheel assembly / V wheel rope sheath.
Safety mechanism stripped and tested and new shaft fitted.
Counter balance shaft replaced.
New lifting rope fitted.
Cross roll bearing checked and new locking pins fitted.
All 16 off rollers checked and replaced if necessary or re-machined if possible.
Service and overhaul gearboxes check oil (replace if necessary) and replace oil seals.
Service and test motors (replace if necessary).
Clean down to bare metal prime and repaint gearboxes, motors, guards and cover plates.
Check couplings and keyways (replace if required).
Refit gearboxes, motors, pulleys, belts or chains.
Re-tap and fit new grease nipples.
Grease and lubricate any shafts, bearings and chains.
Refit new electrical wiring.
Remount control box and pendant.
Test and pass off machines mechanically and electrically.
