Style 10215       Extruded PVDF Copolymer Insulated Flat Wire.

Rating              150 deg. C, 600 V.

Conductor         Bare copper, solid rectangular shaped conductor. Width variable from 400-1500 mils.  Thickness variable from 8-35 mils.

Instructions            Detailed Examination.

to UL                     Dielectric Strength 2000 V for 1 min either

Representative       between conductors and metal foil wrapped around the cable or between conductors and two flat steel plates. Insulation shall not crack when cable is flexed flatwise  into a U-bend around a 1/2 in dia mandrel.Tensile  Strength and Elongation before aging only 3500 psi and 100% min value.

UL                        (4)  Detailed Examination.

Counter-Check      (4)  Cold Bend.  Insulation shall not crack when

Program            cable is flexed into a U-bend around a 1/2 in dia mandrel and taped into place.  The cable shall be  allowed to cool to -20 deg. C for 1 h.

 (4)  Age 60 days at 158 deg. C and subject to Dielectric Strength Test described above.

(4)  Horizontal Flame Test.  One length of cable to be supported flat with flame applied in center of width, and another length of cable held on edge with flame applied on lower edge.

(4)  Tensile Strength and Elongation, 3500 psi, and 100% min value, as received only.
