flap disc is made from overlapping pieces of cloth sanding strips bonded to fiberglass hub, these flap discs provide consistent material removal and even finishes in one operation. As the top layer of sanding strips wears away, a new layer is exposed. These discs run cooler than others and do not require backup pads.
