The reason that cold water soluble film can be so popular in computer embroidery is without any remnants left on the cloth, its nature of nontoxicant and easy future work( it can be dissolved quickly in normal temperature water at 20-40 with none of film left and then leaves silky embroidery). It mainly applies for embroideries strictly requiring good hand feeling and cloth easy to be shaded.

Disadvantages: its rigidity will affected by the air humidity and it have to be stored in a air conditioner environment.
