The annealing furnace can be divided into horizontal continuous annealing furnace, bogie hearth type annealing furnace, and vertical annealing furnace. The technology of the horizontal annealing furnace is to remove the pearlite and cementite produced in the casting process by treating the centrifugal ductile casting pipe with heating, temperature keeping, rapid ccooling and gradual cooling and to make the mechanic performance of the ductile casting pipe meet the requirement of ISO2531-2003Eand GB/T13295-2003, among them the elongation ratio≥10%, ferrite90%, free of cementite. The horizontal continuous annealing furnace, bogie hearth type annealing furnace and vertical annealing furnace is mainly used for the heat treatment of large diameter hot mold centrifugal ductile iron pipes.
