Styrene-butadiene thermoplastic elastomer SBS has appearance of white or yellowish porous particles of rod or wafer shape. It posssesses the advantages or both rubber and plastic with excellent low temperature endurance,ventilating and wet-and-slipping, resistance. It is characterized by easy molding and coloring, simple processing, none vulcanization and low consumption or energy. The leftover bits and pieces can be recovered. It is widely used in shoes making, adhesives, waterproof materials, modification of higher polymer and road bitumen, cable and toys. The annual capacity of existing SBS plant is 150kt/a.
