However, the thin layer of metal is protected under crystal-clear Lexan® Poly-Carbonate made by GE Plastics. So the sheeting not only becomes flexible, bendable and easy to cut, but it also remains durable and resistant to stains and scratches. The metal layer will also never lose its brilliance or rust, as it is protected by the Lexan®.
