Torch OTR tires have been recognized and accepted by more than 30 world famous mining groups. Experience with Torch tires over the last several years have established the Torch brand and given these world famous customers (including most famous mining groups) a good impression of quality, fast service and a high level of co-operation. To meet our customers' demands from all over the world, CHINA NATIONAL TYRE &RUBBER GUILIN CO., LTD makes persistent efforts to provide technical assistance to our customers to optimize compound, tread pattern, and other characteristics. As a result, Torch brand tires are consistently praised by our clients for their durability, cut resistance, heat resistance, and stability.

For more than forty years, the Torch team continues to endeavor to be a globally recognized OTR producer. We have been audited and passed the sequential certification of China CCC, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 16949 international quality system.

II. Location

CHINA NATIONAL TYRE & RUBBER GUILIN CO., LTD is a global manufacturer and distributor of OTR tires headquartered in Guilin, China. A flight from Hongkong to Guilin takes only one hour; Shipments to the main ports all over the world are made weekly, from major southern China Ports close to Guilin.

III. Milestones

In 1965, TORCH TIRE was established in Guilin, China.

In 1988, TORCH started to produce 36.00-51-58PR under the Giant OTR Tires Development Project, supported by Chinese Government. This tire was the biggest tire made in China.

In 1990, TORCH exported OTR tires to Canada and other countries.

In 2006, TORCH expanded its product mix of giant OTR tire with rim diameters ranging from 35 up to 63, and launching the new project for developing radial OTR tires.

In 2007, on December 22, the first giant all-steel radial OTR tire made in China, a 36.00R51 with overall diameter of 3,230mm, rolled off the production line. It is suitable for large-scale dump trucks of 170 tons.

In 2008, more sizes of Torch radial OTR tires will be available including 40.00R57, 37.00R57, 33.00R51, 27.00R49, 24.00R49, 24.00R35 etc.
