The CEE DTTBQ-17/45 Bushing Surge Arrester is an M.O.V. surge arrester combined with a Loadbreak Bushing Insert. It mounts directly to the transformer bushing well. The Bushing Surge Arrester threads into a universal Bushing Well provide the same function as a Rotatable Feedthru Insert. Not only the Bushing Surge Arrester can connect with a Loadbreak Elbow Connector, but also protect the distribution systems form over-voltage. It is typically used at the end point of a radial circuit or at the open point of a loop-feed circuit to provide surge protection in a more compact configuration.
