Established in 1950, China National Machinery Import & Export Corporation (CMC) is one of the forerunners and largest foreign trade enterprises engaged in imports and exports of machinery products and overseas project contracting in China with a total accumulated trade and project contracting volume of US$85 billion.

Our factory in tanks, trailers and containers section, fixes the mission to be customers' partner for modern transportation, has dedicated to manufacturing and supplying of containers, trailers, tank equipments and airport equipments. So far, factory owns RMB 40.392 billion total assets, RMB17.542 billion net assets, RMB48.761 billion annual sales and RMB3.165 billion net profits in 2007, having over 100 subsidiaries and 53,000 staff all over China, North America, Europe, Asia and Australia as well.

Factory was founded in January 1980 in Shenzhen. It went public in 1993 and has been listed in Shenzhen Stock Exchange since 1994. With nearly 30 years continual development, factory has become the leading enterprise of transportation equipment manufacturing and services based on China mainland. In 2007, factory ranked No. 1475 of Top 2000 World Leading Companies by Forbes, No.21 of Top 50 Asia Companies by Business Weekly. No.28 of Top 500 Most Valuable Brand in China. In 2007, "factory" container was identified as China Renowned Brand. In the same year, factory brand was honored "Chinese World Brand" by General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China.
