Floating Ion Exchanger (Bedding layer type)

1General

   This equipment is a kind of counter-flow regeneration type water demineralization system. The raw water flows in the equipment from bottom and discharges from the top, while the regeneration liquid flows in from the top and discharges from the bottom. The equipment is normally used when the raw water flow rate is relative high with salt content500mg/L. The equipment may work with other ion exchangers or RO system for treatment of raw water with salt content 500mg/L. The equipment features high operation flow speed and output capacity but complicated structure and stricter requirement for resin.

Description of inner structures:

1.      Water inlet devices: arched perforated plate and quartz sand bedding layer type;

2.      Water outlet device: Perforated plate + water cap type

Notes:

1.      The equipment is furnished with local sampling device and pressure gauges at both inlet and outlet;

2.      Pressure rating of all connection flanges is 1Mpa;

3.      The equipment may be equipped with either manual rubber lined diaphragm valve or pneumatic rubber lined diaphragm valve; please see the valve size list for the size of LA-LD;

4.      Regeneration liquid used for the equipment may be hydrochloric acid, sulphuric acid or NaOH;

5.      The valves at the loading and unloading port of resin is straight-flow rubber lined diaphragm valve;

6.      If the diameter of the equipment DN ≤1250, big size flange is used at the place of perforated plate;

7.      The equipment is lined inside with 1751 half-hard rubber;

8.      The equipment will have additional resin pressing-down packing of 20mm over the resin layer.
