Space spawns (fish eggs) Living teaching material for natural science study in Primary

and Secondary School

It is known that ShengZhou VII Spacecraft was successfully blasted off on September 25,

2008. It carried with 20,000 spawns of an aquarium fish (killifish) from Fisheries Research

Institute of Fujian into the outer space for biotic experiment. Among which, 9 spawns were

hatched into the space fish in the space. After coming back to the earth, 7 of the

space fish which were hatched in the space survived (refer to relevant reports from the

media such as Xiamen Daily). With the careful nurture by the researchers, the spawn laying

amount of such killifish hatched in the space has increased by a big margin. The researchers

made the spawns to be the resting spawns by hi-tech means. The resting spawns will be

immersed into water while it is necessary to hatch them into killifish. The space spawns

(fish eggs) can be hatched into killifish within at least half an hour. 
As the space spawns (fish eggs) become the resting spawns through hi-tech means, the

resting spawns can be packaged into the small bags just like the tea bags. When it is
