The new Fox465 SMD HCMOS crystal oscillator is designed to improve startup reliability of the timing circuit and is well suited for critical timing applications such as real time clocks and ICs. Operating at a frequency of 32.768 kHz, the oscillator eliminates the need for users to design an oscillator circuit using high equivalent series resistance (ESR) watch crystals.
Features include an operating voltage ranging from 1.5 to 6 V and a 5uA maximum input current, which makes the unit ideally suited for standby timing of ICs. Measuring 4.0 x 6.5 x 2.0 mm, the oscillator offers a temperature range of -40° to +85°C, a frequency stability of +30/-150 ppm, and a frequency tolerance at 25°C of +30/0 ppm.
