Hangzhou Liangjin Boat Co., Ltd. was established in 1986, and began by building wooden boats. LIANGJIN's first international business was sending 3 wooden boats to the USA in 1988.

In the early 1990s, LIANGJIN started to build composite boats with expert guidance from the Aero & Space Department of Nanjing Aeronautic Academy.
