Hybrid Castor Seeds

1. Yield Performance: the average yield is about 4.5t/ha, In Xinjiang, the output is more than 6.75 t/ha which planted under a high produce condition. Single plant production potential is more than 1,000g.

2. Characteristics: It takes about 90 days from sowing to the main spikes ripe and grow un-limit; the plant height about 220 cm, having 3-4 first branches. Single plant can grow 7-8 spikes which likes a pagoda; the main spike length 75-90cm. The capsule has many dense thorns. The seed shape is an ellipse, and has brown color grain. 100 seeds weight about 40g. The kernel rate is 75.4% .The seeds contain oil 50.28%, and the kernel contain oil 64.46%.

3. Cultivation density: the proper row spacing is 100-120 cm; the plant spacing is 70-80cm; and the density is  10,500-13,500 plants/ha.
