Aufbau: Die Motoren sind robust aufgebaut und während ihrer Lebensdauer wartungsfrei. Die im vielnutigen Ständerfeld eingelegte dreisträngige Wicklung bildet zusammen mit dem Betriebskondensator ein im Nennpunkt des Motors symmetrisches Drehfeld. Der Läufer ist als Kurzschlußanker ausgebildet. Verschiedene Baulängen und Durchmesser ergeben Nennmomente von 0,75 bis 12,6 Ncm (Baureihe KD/KD.1) und von 4,1 bis 17 Ncm (Baureihe DR/DR.1). Kombination mit Getrieben, Bremsen und Tachosystemen ist möglich.
