Improve the processing | 1. Higher anti-abrasion property 2. Environment-friendly 3. Inactive to dye defect when bleached and fixed (PH<6.2). |
Specification & packing
Lucky SA-10 color paper is classified based on surface in three types: Glossy Luster & Silk, on packaging in three types: roll, sheet & master roll. The product has a wide range of specifications for customers choice. Any other specifications and packages are also available upon customers request.
STORAGE AND HANDLING
Store unexposed paper at 55oF(13)or lower with a relative humidity less than 65% in the original package for optimum results. Avoiding light, radiation and harmful chemical gas. You can store unexposed paper at 75oF(24) with a relative humidity of 65% for up to six months, and still can achieve high-quality results. High temperatures or high humidity may produce unwanted changes.
To avoid moisture condensation on paper that has been refrigerated, allow it to warm up to room temperature before opening the package. For best results, remove the package from cold storage one day before you use it, or allow the paper to warm up for the appropriate time listed in the following table.
Table 1 Minimum Warm-up Time(hours)at Ambient Temperature of 70OF(21)
|
| Storage Temperature | |
| Size | 2ºC | 13ºC |
ROLLS | 8.9 cm * 175 m | 5.5 | 4 |
10.2 cm * 175 m | 6 | 4.4 | |
12.7 cm * 191 m | 7 | 5 | |
15.2 cm * 191 m | 7.5 | 5 | |
Warm-up time for pallets of paper will vary. For example, one pallet of 4431/2 in.*1162-ft rolls (4 stacks of 11 rolls)stored at 2ºC would require a minimum warm-up time of 24 hours at 70o F(21).
High temperature and high humidity will affect the paper, compensating the changes of the sensitivity.
Do not store the paper and photochemicals in the same room.
Handle paper carefully by the edges to avoid creases and fingerprints.
SAFELIGHT
SA-10 PAPER should be handled in total darkness.
EXPOSURE
Developing-enlarger
SA-10 Paper is a new type silver emulsion color paper suitable for LASER, MLVA, LED, CRT and other digital output devices.
Notice:
1) After switching to SA-10 Paper, the color balance and slope data of the paper channel should be adjusted and slightly modified.
2) Because voltage changes affect light output and color quality, use a voltage regulator if necessary.
3) Keep the optical system of your developing-enlargers clean.
4) Every equipment has its morning Setup process. To control the color balance, adjust the voltage and use dichroic filters for compensating the affection of the light and dust.
LATENT IMAGE KEEPING
SA-10 has a good latent image keeping result. Under normal weather condition, the latent image of the color paper remains unchanged within 24 hours after exposure. There will be a slight change in color if the paper is set too long before processing. For best results, process the paper on the same day you expose it
PROCESSING
RA photochemiclas & RA-4 process is used for SA-10 Paper. Use RA-4 Control strips to monitor your process. Set a drying temperature of 70ºC. Do not ferrotype this paper, the glossy surface dries to a natural gloss without ferrotyping.
PRINT EVALUATION
Evaluate prints under light of the same color and brightness that you will use to view the final prints. For an average condition use a light source with a color temperature of 5000±1000K, a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 85 to 100( an index of 90 or higher is desirable ) , and an illuminance up to 538 lux. Fluorescent lamps such as a cool white deluxe lamp (made by several manufacturers) meet these conditions. You can also use a mixture of a pair of 40-watt cool white deluxe lamps and a 100-watt incandescent lamp. For each pair of 40-watt cool white deluxe lamps, use a 75-watt frosted tungsten bulb.
STORAGE
SA-10 PAPER has been formulated to provide improved dye stability and prints displayed under typical home lighting conditions (i.e., 120 Lux for 12 hours a day) or in the album for decades.
Despite the improvements in print longevity and fade neutrality, the stability of all photographic dyes is relative and they will be changed or totally damaged with time after exposing to the sunlight, ultraviolet radiation, excessive heat, and high humidity. To help prevent changes in photographic dyes, please display prints in the lowest light level consistent with your viewing needs. If a print is exposed directly to the sunlight or fluoresce light, use an ultraviolet-absorbing filter (such as glass) between the light source and the print. Keep the prints away from harmful chemicals, such as formaldehyde (giving out from new furniture) and sulfur dioxide. Keep the temperature and humidity as low as possible.
