China National Tyre & Rubber Guilin Co., Ltd. (Previous Name: Haohua South (Guilin) Rubber Corp., Ltd.) is a special group company of rubber industry located in Southern China. It is the largest tyre manufacture in Southern China equipped with producing, sales and development sectors.

Tire Production

China National Tyre & Rubber Guilin Co., Ltd. owns two large factories producing bias and radial giant OTR tyres with cutting-edge technology and advance imported equipments. In 2009, the new TBR production workshop is being constructed to expand and complete TORCH lines.

We are now producing bias OTR tyres for rim diameters ranging from 35 to 63 under TORCH brand. We offer the industry's most comprehensive selection of bias tyres for many heavy vehicles. The company always places great importance on quality, development, and innovation. We design, produce, and inspect strictly according to national and international standards.

With a total investment of 0.622 billion RMB, we set up All-steel Radial Giant OTR Project, which is the first project under the title National Scientific and Technological Supported Project and at the same time is the Key Project in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and China Chemical Group. The Project began constructed in March 2007. In late Dec. 2007, the first TORCH all-steel radial tyre 36.00R51 roll off the production line. In April, 2008, TORCH all-steel radial tyre was sent to major domestic mine for road testing. The test result meets the national and international standard. More sizes of TORCH radial tyre will be available including 40.00R57, 37.00R57, 30.00R51, 27.00R49, 24.00R49, 24.00R35, etc. The Project will be finished in 2010 and the designed annually production capacity is 10000 pcs.

In 2009, a new project of radial truck tires has been planned and carried out. The designed capacity of the first phase will reach 300,000 pcs of TBR.

For more than forty years, the TORCH team continues to endeavor to be a globally recognized OTR producer and the quality of TORCH tires have been accepted by more than 30 mining groups all over 20 countries.

We have been audited and passed the sequential certification of China CCC, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO/TS16949 international quality system.

TORCH has a team of well trained, knowledgeable sales and service technicians as your consultants, to evaluate operating conditions and suggest the proper tyres to be selected. In large operations, TORCH after sales service teams inspect tyres daily and repair any rock cuts or tyre damage promptly to extend tyre life. With good management and expert care by TORCH teams, tyre life can be extended to its maximum. TORCH tyre repairs are cost-effective with TORCH's special design for maximum reparability and latest tyre repair process.

Milestones

In 1965, TORCH tire was established In Guilin, China.

In 1988, TORCH started to produce 36.00-51-58PR under the Giant OTR Tires Development Project, supported by Chinese Government. This tire was the biggest tire made in China.

In 1990, TORCH exported OTR tires to Canada and other countries.

In 2006, TORCH expanded its product mix of giant OTR tire with rim diameters ranging from 35up to 63, and launching the new project for developing radial OTR tires.

In 2007, on December 22, the first giant all-steel radial OTR tire made in China, a 36.00R51 with overall diameter of 3230mm, rolled off the production line.

In 2009, more sizes of Torch radial OTR tires were available including 40.00R57, 37.00R57, 33.00R51, 27.00R49, 24.00R49, 24.00R35 ......etc.

On 20^th Jan, 2009, we changed the corporate name from Haohua South (Guilin) Rubber Corp., Ltd. to China National Tyre & Rubber Guilin Co., Ltd.
