About BKD:
BKD two-stage blower is composed of two BKW blowers connected in series connection, for increased pressure capability as compared to a single blower. An inter-stage cooler is included between the blower stages to reduce the exit temperature from the first stage blower to prevent overheating of the second stage blower. This feature increases the performance of the complete system. The second stage blower is equipped with a check valve to protect the first stage blower from being damaged if an upset condition occurs in second stage blower.
