Property and usage

It is light yellow or brown color powder with specific weight is 9.53, the melting point is 888¡æ and the boiling point 1470¡æ, turn red lead when adding to 300-500¡æ and yellow lead at high temperature, does not dissolve in the water and ethyl alcohol, easy to dissolve in the acetic acid, dissolves in nitric acid and ethyl alkali, poisonous.

It uses in making lead dioxide and as drier in the paint when becomes soap with the oil. It uses in making plastic stabilizer (i.e. second salt and third salt) raw material of optical glass and ceramics massively, as well as in radiation protecting rubber products, accumulator cell a few and chrome yellow pigment production.
