This unique patented device achieves electricity cost savings of up to 15% by identifying the optimum voltage needed to efficiently run all 'resistive type' electrical products, such as, but not limited to heaters, electric fires, hair dryers, vacuum cleaners, oil-filled radiators, electric cooker and ovens. Fully compliance-tested, the PowaSava will maximise energy savings without reducing the performance of these resistive type appliances in your home or office. It also simultaneously prolongs equipment and component life cycle thus resulting in reduced carbon footprint.
Background:
Incoming property voltage should be 230V in Europe and120V in USA & Canada. This is the voltage where most electrical appliances operate at maximum efficiency and give the longest
service. However, as electrical losses in cables and equipment, coupled with large users switching on and off, the mains voltage into properties varies between 216 and 253 in Europe and 108 to 134V in USA and Canada; also has been recorded at 272V in the UK.
When the voltage into your home increases above 230V (Europe) or 120V (USA and Canada), three things happen:
1. It costs you much more money in electricity,
2. Your appliance works harder than it should; so the appliance wears out faster,
3. Your home uses more energy than you need; which adds to worldwide CO2 emissions.
This is why you need the PowaSava?
Benefits:
The PowaSava combines a number of advanced technologies with a unique intelligent chip and program to identify the optimum voltage and power needed to run your resistive type electrical appliance.
1. Cheaper electricity by eliminating the wasted power.
2. Increased equipment life cycle by reducing the overworked electrical appliances caused by
higher voltage.
3. A reduction in CO emissions and therefore in overall carbon footprint.
The PowaSava has been fully certified by two independent accredited testing companies, both reporting that, dependent upon incoming Voltage, the PowaSava can achieve savings of up to 15%. Thus the greater the incoming mains Voltage and the larger the power (Watts) needed to run your appliances, the much more money is saved.
Operation:
Just plug the PowaSava into the main socket nearest to your appliance; then plug in your resistive type appliance into the socket of the PowaSava. Switch on your appliance and wall socket and then PowaSava is operational. The PowaSava starts working immediately; saving you money, extending your equipment life and reduce carbon emissions.
System Compatibility:
The PowaSava will only work on 'resistive type' electrical products such as fan heaters, electric fires, hair dryers, vacuum cleaners, oil-filled radiators, electric cooker and ovens, etc. We recommend that you use the PowaSava on these type of appliances up to a maximum power of 3,000 Watts (3 KW) for Type 1, 2 & 4 and 1600 Watts (1.6 KW) for Type 3 (USA, Canada and Japan).
Safety Assessment:
The PowaSava is fully CE, UL and CCC certified, RoHS compliant and has been independently tested to measure its performance.
The unit also has the following added safety features:
1. Automatic Overload Protection System - this ensures that if your appliance is rated above the maximum ability of the PowaSava(3KW) or if your appliance develops a fault, then the
PowaSava automatically shuts down the electrical power to your appliance.
2. Micro Cooling System forces cool air over its electrical components. This ensures a greater operating life for the PowaSava and also makes it saver to use with large power appliances.
