OLPF consists of two or above double refractive plates. OLPF is a frequency control filter, a core part of lens system of digital imaging in front of CCD. After the light pass the lens, OLPF can filtrate the high frequency light. OLPF makes good use of the double refractive quality of crystal. When the light beam passes through the crystal, the imaging signal is separated into light O and light E and makes an oppositely interleaving image. The frequency width is minished, so frequency mix is avoided.
OLPF coated with IR can avoid infrared ray to interfere CCD imaging. OLPF is mainly used for DC, digital camcorder, imaging security camera, etc.
