Mainly used in paper, bamboo wood and stationery, cationic dyes used for Polyacrylonitrile fiber coloring

Basic dyes has strong and excellent tingeing strength to paper fiber. It is widely used in paper industry because of its easy dyeing and brilliant color.

In order to avoid color spot, it is not applicable to dissolve basic dye with hard water or alkaline water when dyeing. Instead of that, dilute acetic acid (1%) should be used as solution and PH value be made between 4.5~6.5 at temperature 60^oC~70^oC.

Also, please notice the order and process of adding dyes and assistant material, especially for aluminum sulfate, in order that we could get excellent dyeing effect.

For example, the correct order for paper pulp dyeing (unbleached pulp or ground wood pulp) is as follow:

Dyestuff--Sizing material-- Aluminum sulfate

Others, enough blending time is needed to make dyestuff cohered closely with paper fiber. And other assistant material should be added after 20 minutes, so as to get good leveling effect.
