Fin-plucking and pan-firing by hand are two key points to make good Lung Chin. To
1kg of premium quality, roughly 50,000 young buds are needed. Hand-pan-firing requires
many experiences to match the temperatures with the size and tenderness
of the leaves. When done with skill, and when using leaves from the spring growth,
the made tea presents natural hints and a pleasant nutty fragrance.
Our high grown Lung Chin is produced in our Panan and Kaihua factory. Its fresh leaves
are hand plucked in the early spring time. The premium quality is made from
one new bud and one new leaf with some Que She leaves. The other qualities are
of graded ones, recommended for daily cup, or can be used as blending basis.
