Characteristics of LLDPE stretch film:

Unitization: This is the biggest characteristics of wrapping film package. It takes advantage of the strong wrapping force and nerviness of the thin film, and bind the products tightly and firmly to a unit, so that the scattered items can become a whole, there won’t be any loose or dispatch even if under adverse circumstances. Furthermore, there isn’t sharp edge and stickiness, so that it can avoid damage.

Primary protection: Primary protection characteristics provide surface protection for products. It forms a light and protective surface around the product so as to reach the aim of dust-proof, oil-proof, damp proof, water proof and theft proof. The especially important one is that wrapping film package makes the packed items have better power distribution, avoiding damage caused by uneven power distribution. This is what traditional package method (binding, baling and adhesive tape, etc.)can not achieve.

Compression and fixation: The product is wrapped with the help of the retractive force the wrapping film stretched, It forms a compact and roomless unit whole, making each pallet of products packed together closely. It can effectively prevent dislocation and movement of the products during transportation. At the same time, the adjustive stretch force can make the hard products clingy and soft products constrictive. It has peculiar packaging effect especially in the tobacco industry and textile industry.

Cost-saving: Applying wrapping film to pack products can effectively decrease use-cost. It’s only about 15% of bookcase package, 35% of thermal contraction membrane, and 50% of carton package. Meanwhile, it can bring down the labor intensive, improve package efficiency and package quality.
