The steam in the hot medium has greater heat transfer effect due to its bigger latent heat than that of the other mediums. Based on the above characteristic, the water is vaporized by phase change in the phase change heater and then exchanges heat with the medium in the heat exchanger tube. The medium in the tube rises in temperature by absorbing the latent heat of vaporization, and the vapor is condensed and returned to the shell and then is vaporized again, and that circle repeats.
