The principle of electric control of PC mechanism is simple and mature, with low failure rate, also easy to maintain

This mechanism enjoys four features:

1. Preventing the unexpected shift of direction through electric control.

2. High-speed transitionsl inspection. Transit to high-speed from low speed only.

3. Lossening the brake only when the motor is electrifying.

4. During the operation process(except emergency top and limitor control ), the brake only works in low-speed condition.

5. When shifting gear, the speed is transmited directly. The strike of the connecting part, formed by motor output shaft and reducer, and the reducer and coiling block, is very strong. It is quite easy to cause mechnical damage. POTAIN has been devoting to improve design and productive technology, so as to enhance the reliability of the transmition system.

6. Due to the limitation of speed regulation of PC mechanism, it can not be used of big tons’ tower crane.
